GENNARO was founded in 1933 to meet the needs of shipbuilding and repair yards that were interested in new construction systems. In fact, we were moving from nailing and riveting the hull plates to electric welding with an electrode. The activity of the time was therefore the repair and maintenance of these innovative, for that time, electrical machinery. Always in step with technology, over the years GENNARO has developed by expanding its market into new sectors always linked to the world of electrical engineering: rewinding of electric motors in alternating current AC or direct current DC, in low voltage or medium voltage, electrical and electronic systems, restoration of transformers, inverters and converters.

Since 1985, with the new ownership, GENNARO has also started the mechanical department both for machining with machine tools in the workshop and for on-site machining.

Today, thanks to constant innovation, the company is still a protagonist in electromechanical maintenance thanks to cutting-edge machinery for CNC machining, for Laser Cladding coating, for every type of welded coating and for special maintenance.
