Chrome Plating Workshop

Inside the Chrome plating department we have tanks of various sizes for galvanic treatment by applying micro-cracked hard chrome: currently we can chrome mechanical parts, hydraulic rods, rolling cylinders, etc. with dimensions up to 5 meters in length and 900mm in diameter.

The tanks for the treatment of piston ring grooves on naval engine pistons are in operation 24 hours a day. The quality achieved in thick chrome plating allows us to boast important Italian and foreign customers both in the treatment of rolling cylinders and in that of naval pistons.

Naturally, our company is authorized to use hexavalent chromium thanks to the broader authorization issued by the European Commission to the CTACSub consortium C(2020)8797 of 18.12.2020, ECHA EC #215-607-8, CAS #1333-82-0 .
